Colonial White

• Paint chips can be picked up at the front desk of the Institute for Contemporary Art at 601 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220. ​​

​

• Choose a place, thing or situation that embodies colonial white to you and then take a horizontal picture holding the paint chip in front of it *. See examples here.

​

• Write: Your name, the place where you took the picture, and one or two sentences about why and how you chose the place/object/situation  that embodies colonial white to you. (max. 100 words)

• Email photo(s) and text to colonialwhite@gmail.com

​

• Sign and return release form.

 

* If a person appears in your photo and is recognizable, please have them sign this personal release form.
